Refund Policy
Last updated
Spectra Terminal subscriptions are paid in cryptocurrency and billed one month at a time. Because crypto payments are final and irreversible by network design, we don't issue refunds. You can cancel anytime — your current month stays active until its end date.
Why no refunds?
Every payment we receive is an on-chain transaction we can't reverse. There's no chargeback path on BTC, ETH, or USDT — once the funds confirm, they're yours, and after admin approval they're ours. Rather than promise a refund we can't reliably deliver, we keep the commitment short: pay for one month at a time. If Spectra isn't worth a second month, cancel and you owe nothing more.
How to cancel
Cancellation is self-service in the dashboard. You keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for, then the account silently downgrades to the free tier:
- Open app.spectraterminal.com and sign in.
- Go to Billing → Manage subscription.
- Click "Cancel renewal". Confirm in the modal.
- You'll get an email confirmation. Your current period_end date stays — nothing else changes until then.
Narrow exceptions
We only issue refunds in the following situations, on a case-by-case basis:
- Duplicate payment — you sent the same amount twice within 24 hours due to a UI bug or network confusion on our side.
- Service outage exceeding 7 consecutive days within a billing period, where the outage is attributable to Spectra (not your broker or exchange).
- A statutory right of withdrawal in your jurisdiction that we can't legally waive (rare for B2B SaaS but exists in some EU consumer contexts).
