Sign in

A Spectra account is optional. The desktop binary works fully offline — all charts, scripts, and paper-trading run locally. You only need to sign in for cloud sync, the script library, and 24/7 alerts (Pro).

Creating an account

Profile → Sign in → "Create account". You'll be sent a magic link by email; clicking it activates the account on the device that requested it.

Account email   →  used for billing + alerts
Display handle  →  shown on community-shared scripts
Region          →  Supabase region (EU default; US optional)

Linking broker connections

After sign-in, Profile → Brokers → Add connection. For each broker:

• API key + secret (broker-issued; we never see your password).
• Scope (read-only by default; flip to read-write before live).
• Optional IP allowlist for the broker's webhook callbacks.

Credentials are AES-GCM sealed at rest. They never leave your machine unless you explicitly opt to sync them.

Enabling cloud sync

Profile → Sync → toggle on. From that point, settings, scripts, and trading state mirror to the cloud and roll forward across devices. Disable any time — local data stays.

Magic link expired

Magic links live for 15 minutes. If yours expired, request a new one from the same screen. The previous link is revoked automatically.
